Isabella Fiore Pick Up Lines Angie HoboSometimes, a bag gets really close to being great and then, out of nowhere, completely fails. Designers shouldn’t underestimate the ability of small details to make a big difference, and sometimes they make all the difference in the world.

And it’s not that I don’t like the Isabella Fiore Pick Up Lines Angie Hobo – I do. Mostly. I love the covered studs, black leather and the amount of monochromatic detail that it has. It’s basically the same shape and structure as an Isabella Fiore bag I bought back in 2005, and that particular purse was one of my favorite ones that I’ve ever owned because of how comfortable and functional it was. This bag is so close to a home run for me that the one glaring flaw is extra disappointing: the distressed brass hardware. This bag is BEGGING for silver, any kind of silver. Silver is really the only answer here, and what do they give us? Not silver. It doesn’t fit the look at all, and it looks like they might have had some buckles left over from a completely different style of bag and decided to recycle them on this one. The finishing details are just as important as anything in a successful design, and Fiore stopped short here. Buy through Bloomingdale’s for $695.

OMG. I so agree. This bag is fantastic except for the hardware. I can’t count the number of great bags I reject because of hardware that’s just not right for the color or style. What a shame. In this case, though, I may have to overlook it if it’s the only way I’ll get to buy this one. However–ouch– when did IF become $700? Maybe I’ll wait for a late fall sale!

This looks like it has copied the details from linea pelle’s samantha in black. Only the samantha looks much much better, and of course, the samantha has silver hardware.

I love it, it looks like a two-handle style but then its a one-handle and it has studs; which I love.

I just bought this bag in a deep brown. It is simply beautiful! One can dress this purse up with the right little number or wear it on the down low with some rockin’ jeans. Either way, the hardware on the brown is very complementary.
