Over the past couple weeks, I keep seeing Lamarthe handbags. I have to say, there is something about these handbags I absolutely love. After trying to pin point what I love about the bags, I realized that more than anything, they just seem to be impeccably made. The Lamarthe First Class Drawstring Bag is no exception. At first glance, this handbag screams class and sophistication. The dusty rose leather and silvertone hardware work well together. I’m not usually a huge fan of this color, but it doesn’t look too girly which I do like. The drawstring opening is covered by a flap over with ring detailing and there is one of my favorite additions to the handbag world, an interior magnetic snap closure. You know, the other thing about this bag that I like is that it seems as though it could work for a wide spectrum of age groups. Well, Lamarthe designers have done something right since the first boutique opened in 1936, celebrities as well as some of the most fashionable women of their time have been spotted carrying Lamarthe handbags. What about you, if you haven’t heard of Lamarthe before, are you going to keep your eye out? Buy through Bluefly for $455.

No thank you. I remember when I was a kid I had a bright hot pink fanny pack with a black zipper. I

this has been my favorite bag yet on PB savvy! bravo. I love the color, the bag itself looks more expensive than it is. and I have never heard of this brand, but I’ll be keeping an eye out. Looks so soft!
looks great! i love it
Didier Lamarthe is one of the traditional French brands that are medium in price range (300 to 600 euros) like Lancel, Seoquoia, and Longchamp. I think they do great quality but they are very classic.
I have honestly never heard of Lamarthe before but I will definitely start paying more attention in the future. I’m not sure how I feel about the color…maybe ‘d have to see it in person to have a definite opinion but I love the shape and the leather looks great!
I’ve never heard of Lamarthe before either, but I think I’ll keep my eyes open. I love everything about the bag, the color is so soft and nice and the silver hardware is perfect with it. Thanks for setting up the purseblog Savvy.
This color is TDF!!! The simple, smooth lines are fabulous…I currently on a big time ban but I might have to cheat. Wow, I am in love!
I agree, the best bag featured in PB Savvy so far!
Very nice!
I should notify u about this.
eh… attractive )
nice! i’m gonna make my own journal
I thought it would retail for alot more then that. Most minaudiere designers use swarvski crystals in their designs (ex leiber) and charge at least $1k more.
