Is it just me, or has the whole Ed Hardy/Chrisian Audigier debacle (and that’s really the only word to describe it) ruined tattoo prints for all of us? I’m kind of thinking it’s not just me.

Stuff like what’s found on the Isabella Fiore Peace & Love Rafaella Hobo just doesn’t look modern and interesting anymore, and what’s worse, Audigier’s work makes it look cheap by style association.

Isabella Fiore Peace and Love Rafaella Hobo

If I remember the early days of my handbag obsession correctly, this is far from being Fiore’s first tattoo bag. The brand has always been one to go more than a little over the top when it comes to embellishments and visual elements, so this isn’t so much surprising as it is disappointing – tattoo art on clothes and accessories has been done to death, and then Ed Hardy has continued to kick it as it lies lifeless on the floor. As a result, this bag just looks so five minutes ago. Buy through Bloomingdale’s for $595.

I think Isabella Fiore was doing tattoo bags before Gawdy Audi ruined the whole genre. It’s really too bad, her tattoo bags are nice.

I am really tired of peace signs too.

    Studs – you’re on minute 14!
