I am probably one of the very, very few people that think studs are being overused. But then I took a closer look at the clutch, and for that I thank the purse deities because otherwise I would not have realized the amazingness that lies in the details of this bag. First of all, it’s a convertible clutch. That’s right, you can carry it as a clutch or a handbag with one of two detachable straps, one plain black and the other studded. Secondly, the studs are perfectly round, ensuring that they are cool and smooth to the touch rather than pokey and faceted like many studs (yep, I think this is quite important). Third, the shape of the bag is genius. Delicate pleats at the top blossom outwards to a bulbous lower half, which instantly lends the bag a hint of casual comfort. Studs can be for nice girls too.
