Kate Spade Quilted Poppy Fields Maryanne Tote
Now lookie at what we have here. Hmmm. There is something that I kind of like about it but I can’t quite put my finger on. Well, first of all, I have yet to own a red handbag. I realize I probably should at least have a red clutch, but that isn’t the case. I am trying to diversify my handbag collection and I am pretty sure a red handbag is much needed. So will a Kate Spade bag be one to break into my collection? Maybe!

Hmmm, hot pink. What do you think of a hot pink handbag? Personally, I’m not a fan of hot pink on huge bags, but on smaller bags, sure why not?! It is always nice to add a bit of flash and spice to an outfit. The Rebecca Minkoff Exclusive 3-Zip Morning After Clutch is the kind of hot pink bag I am sure I would be able to rock. I am not exactly sure which outfit I would carry it with, but you better believe any black or gray outfit would be fabulous!
Hmmmm, something seems off here but I can’t quite decide. There is part of me the actually really likes the Badgley Mischka Platinum Label Carina Leather Hobo and then there is another part of me that doesn’t. The shape of this bag screams classic hobo which I am totally fine with. I can also appreciate the tie detail on the strap but I fear that it is just a bit too much.
I’ll be honest with you: first and foremost, I chose to write about the Tory Burch Amanda Mini Bag because I share a name with it. I tend to always dislike things that are also “Amanda,” but I quite like this one, and when you’re charged with finding eight handbags per day to write about, well, that’s reason enough.
Now what do we have here? Dare I say I’ve come across a messenger bag that I actually enjoy? For those of you who have come to know me and my handbag likes and dislikes, you know that I haven’t really latched onto messenger bags. It’s not that I don’t like the shape, I guess I just have never given them much of a chance. I’d go for a great tote or hobo before a messenger bag any day. However, the Steven by Steve Madden Snake Charmer Zip Messenger Bag is making me think twice.
One of the best things about cold weather dressing is the ability to use so many and varied textures in a single outfit. Wool, leather, denim, suede, cashmere, silk – it can all go together! Layer it up, choose some solids and patterns, and you can create ensembles far more interesting than anything that warm weather allows. As far as fashion goes, I wish it was 50 degrees outside year-round.
Oh dear. The devil really is in the details, isn’t it?
Are you sick of fringe yet? On some bags I feel as though the fringe is far too much and then on others it still works. The new bags that are coming out still have a bit of fringe to them, but the fringe is back to being used as an accent, but the focal point of the bag. Clearly, this Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Miles Fringe Bag is still on the go fringe or go home band wagon and it might work.
