Lockheart Hidden Jewel Hobo

Lockheart Hidden Jewel Hobo

No matter how many of their designs I see, I just can’t get over the lovely intricacies of Lockheart handbags.

It seems to me that what Lockheart does really well (in general and also specifically on the Lockheart Hidden Jewel Hobo) is make super complicated designs that are simultaneously very wearable.

Usually, the way that they accomplish that is by creating a bag with lots of external adornment – in this case, leather flowers – but rendering the entire thing in a single neutral color. The bags have texture and style to spare but are as easy to work into an outfit as a plain bag of the same color – it might seem like a bit of a gimmick, but if it is, it’s a really good one.

I have but one criticism of this bag – the foundation leather appears to be rather shiny and thin, and I wish that it was matte and supple instead, but we can’t always get what we want. As it is, this is still a really stylish option for fall and winter. Buy through Nordstrom for $345.

@ottercat – LOL, that’s exactly what I thought when I was writing this last night. Almost made me not want to write about it, but I like the bag.

Nice bag, of course would love to feel the leather, otherwise very pretty.
@gpc-Lockheart is a designer label created by the two designers who started Isabella Fiore I believe-hence the bags look similar for both lines, even price point is similar, although this one is somewhat more affordable than usual, perhaps the leather is too thin just like the writer mentioned.

I was just looking at this bag the other day on Nordstom.com I love the detail, it is so perfect for the holiday season. The only problem is deciding what color to get-stone or black?

This bag is gorgeous.. the flowers are so feminine. I worked a trade show last weekend for LA fashion week and went to Lockheart’s booth and saw the Spring 2010 line and I about fainted. I love their bags but whats coming up next season is going to make everyone go nutz and want them all. Also the ladies who worked for Lockheart at the booth were super nice, most of the other designers I had to work with were pretty stuck up so it was refreshing meeting them.

RY is correct. These girls were from Isabella Fiore- And They were the TALENT if you ask me. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, these bags are awesome. You can dress them up or dress them down. I’m such a fan!!!!

I went to their site and I found so many beautiful purses there. This one is no exception. I wish their site had 360 degree product view so I can see the product in all angles and the insides too!
