Marc by Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Vanity Case

When I was little, my mom had a mint green leather vanity case that she would always use every time we went on vacation, and I remember being totally jealous of it. Not that it was particularly spectacular (I was born in the mid 80s and I think that particular set of luggage was a holdover from the late 70s, based on the color) or that I had anything to put in it at that age – it just seemed like the sort of thing that big girls had for all of their big girl beauty needs.

Not that it was particularly spectacular (I was born in the mid 80s and I think that particular set of luggage was a holdover from the late 70s, based on the color) or that I had anything to put in it at that age – it just seemed like the sort of thing that big girls had for all of their big girl beauty needs.Fast forward a couple of decades, and I have plenty of beauty products that need a home when I travel and absolutely zero adorable pieces of luggage in which to put them. So maybe the Marc by Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Vanity Case is my childhood dream come true?
As often as we try and scour the internet and department store universe to find the best and most unique handbags out there, I really like when I come across a bag that is simple, streamlined and well executed. I know there will be plenty of you who think this bag is far too boring, but sometimes it is nice to have a bag that does its job, looks great and doesn’t send your bank account into a downward spiral. 
Even though they seem to have been on hiatus for a little while, convertible bags still pretty much rock my world. And even though I’m usually one for patterned, slouchy bags, this Alexis Hudson Bijou Shoulder Bag is a perfect choice for those times when a sleeker bag is needed. Plus, the champagne color all but ensures an air of fancy sophistication.
I love a good winter white. I’m from the South and there are still fairly strict taboos here against wear white after Labor Day, but those rules seem so completely old fashioned in the face of beautiful, creamy winter whites, such as the stylish-yet-functional CC Skye Kate Hobo.
At first, I was really excited when I initially saw the LeSportsac Pop Shopper. I thought, how wonderful! A bag that folds up super tiny that you can throw in your regular bag and pull out if you get caught in the rain or if you make an impromptu trip to the grocery to grab a few things and don’t want to waste a plastic bag!
Sigh. I really, really, really wish this image was a bit better. The Treesje Hendrix Shoulder Bag is actually a fabulous bag but the image doesn’t do it enough justice. But, let’s try and forget the image itself and let’s just focus on the bag. First and foremost, I love the color of the bag. The polished wine colored leather looks fabulous on this shoulder bag. However, I do have a question as to why 
Ohhhh, this bag is shinny. I’ve already begun thinking about what I might do for New Years Eve and when I start thinking about that, I can’t help but start thinking about what I am going to be carrying. I have no problem picking out the clutch first and worrying about the outfit afterward. The DKNY Fold-Over Metallic Clutch is a great option for a New Years Eve clutch which could be carried as an evening bag for so many other occasions.
