    It has been a while since I’ve been to the Lucca site. Now, I wonder why. Two of my “go to” handbags are Elliott Lucca (the Betina Shopper and the Socialite satchel). I need to visit their new designs more often. They provide such beauty and luxury for a reasonable price.

    My favorite new bag is the Maxfield Satchel in Dove. It is a lovely day bag with huge space capacity and a perky boat-ish shape. I like that the shape and the fabric gathers/tucks in the center are the main design features. It is clean and simple and not “too much.” And I love the buckle detail and the sturdy woven handles!

    It is beautiful and stylish, but not flashy.

Don’t get me wrong I like pouches, but in today’s society with talented pickpockets…give me the zipper! The design with the diamond pattern is sexy but not overdone.
