Alright, alright. I know we’ve already covered another Rebecca Minkoff bag today, but I’m sorry, I’m not sorry; I couldn’t help myself. The RM Nikki bag is one that we’ve seen several times before, but now there is an option for an exotic look. The Rebecca Minkoff Python Microfiber Nikki Hobo Bag actually makes me squirm. I don’t like it one bit.
Perhaps I have grown accustom to the “traditional” Nikki bag and therefore am opposed to something way outside of the box. Certainly the only thing that sets this bag apart from other Nikkis is the material used. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but the look fails, on all sorts of levels. Yet, all the issues I can see with it can be summed up in one word – sloppy. It looks like the material was just draped over the bag with designers certain it would work due to the popularity of the Nikki Bag. Not the case. This bag looks messy, unorganized and one that I would probably never throw on my shoulder. The other Nikki Bags are a completely different story, this one I’ll never look at again. However, if you think I am completely off my rocker, snag this bag through Luna Boston for $395.

I think it is the color combo and the lighting of the picture. She should do a python Nikki for real!
It’s pretty creepy. The bag looks too large for the print.

Its good to finally hear some criticism of a RM bag on here for once! Not even Rebecca can be perfect all of the time!
I prefer stamped leather…microfiber= cheap! and this looks cheap…hello Canal street?! anyone?!
I don’t like it. Not to mention the clashing red bird lining that is being used this season!
