I have no second thoughts about the Rafe Agyness Chain-Embroidered Crossbody, however. It’s on-trend and just restrained enough to be cool and still have lots of personality.

Obviously, the star of the show here is the cluster of chains that covers the front flap of the bag. At first I wished that they had gone with an all-silver color palette, but on second thought, the mixture makes the bag more versatile and less obviously industrial, which means it will probably fit into a larger variety of bag wardrobes. Some might call the zippers edgy or catchy, but it does nothing but make the bag look far too busy. Since there are so many things I do like about the bag, I decided to give it a second chance and attempt to see if it could work. While I kept looking at it, all I wanted was to erase some of the zippers. In fact, if the zippers along the front and the back of the bag were gone, this would be an entirely different bag and I would have nothing bad to say about it. When it comes to dressing for a fall night out, there’s nothing that I love more than a beautiful berry-colored clutch. It just so happens that the Rafe New York Erin Flap Clutch fits that description exactly.

There’s not much to dislike here, folks. This is a clutch in a gorgeous color that’s also really usable. It’s big enough to fit all your stuff, regardless of how square and clunky your Blackberry is, and then some. I’m always a fan of a clutch that you can use without tremendously editing the normal collection of stuff that you want to carry with you, and this one will take you from day to night easily.

The Rafe Carrie Rattan Clutch is a straw-esque clutch that I am enamored with. I think this clutch is nothing less than perfect for a hot summer night. And while this might shock you as much as it initially shocked me, I actually find the enamel elephant on the flap absolutely precious.
