Foley + Corinna Moto Hobo

Oh dear. I’m kind of worried about the Foley + Corinna Moto Hobo on a structural level. As with their last bag that I reviewed, the Foley + Corinna Perforated Crossbody Bag, I think they may have sacrificed some important functional concerns in order to achieve a particular look, much to their detriment.

My gripe with this bag, as with the last bag, is mainly with the handle. It attaches to the back of the bag instead of evenly on the sides, leaving the bag gaping open and its contents very exposed if you aren’t careful to close it. Since the body of the bag closes with a snap instead of a magnet, you have to be sure to do it every time you’re in and out of the bag, lest it droop open and the contents of the bag be ripe for the picking. If you’ve ever seen anyone carry a messenger bag on one shoulder with the top flipped back, you know the effect I’m talking about – it would be obvious to all passersby. Sorry, Foley + Corinna.
